Carolina Benito Kelly is of counsel at García Rodríguez Abogados (“GR ABOGADOS”). She has focused her practice in natural resources, corporate law, commercial law, litigation and international arbitration.

Previously, Carolina worked at Garrigues and the Royal Bank of Scotland in Madrid, Spain, as well as in Lovells (currently, Hogan Lovells) in Paris, Francia. In Chile, she has worked as senior associate at Núñez, Muñoz Abogados and as an independent consultant in commercial and litigation affairs. Carolina graduated from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Universidad de Chile, being awarded with the Erasmus scholarship at the Panthéon-Sorbonne University of París.

Ms. Benito is co-author of “Issues in Cross-border Mergers and Acquisitions”, Comparative Law Yearbook of International Business, Vol 32, Kluwer Law International; co-author of “International Project Finance and Private-Public Partnerships”, section “Country Reports”, Kluwer Law International, 2013; and autor of “Non-Conventional Renewable Energy Law No. 20.257”, Vol 1, number 4, Desde Santiago, Chile.
